  • Author: danyrecipes

  • Yield: 4 servings

Description

This Best Blueberry Peach Ginger Lemonade blends sweet blueberries, ripe peaches, and a hint of fresh ginger with bright lemon juice into a layered, aromatic lemonade where the floral sweetness of the berries and peaches meets the warm, spicy kick of ginger for a drink that feels both comforting and refreshingly vibrant. The ginger adds a subtle heat that lifts the entire flavor profile while keeping the drink smooth and easy to sip. This lemonade is ready in just ten minutes.

Ingredients

1 cup fresh blueberries

1 cup fresh peach slices, peeled and pitted

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/2 to 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)

3 cups cold water

1 cup ice cubes

Fresh blueberries, peach slices, and a thin ginger slice for garnish

Instructions

1. Add blueberries and peach slices into a highโ€‘speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

2. Strain the fruit puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher and discard all solids.

3. Pour in fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest.

4. Add freshly grated ginger, honey or simple syrup, and cold water.

5. Stir everything together until well combined.

6. Taste and adjust sweetness, lemon juice, or ginger as needed.

7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish with peach slices, blueberries, and a thin ginger slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Use ripe, fragrant peaches and deeply colored blueberries for the sweetest flavor and prettiest color.

Start with a small amount of fresh ginger and add more if you like a stronger spicy kick.

Frozen blueberries and peach slices work well here and are great when fresh fruit is not in season.

Strain the blended fruit puree thoroughly to remove all fibers for the smoothest texture.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 days โ€” stir well before serving as natural separation occurs.
