Description

This Lemonade with Watermelon and Mint blends sweet, juicy watermelon with cool fresh mint and bright lemon into a light, beautifully colored lemonade that is as refreshing as it is stunning to look at. The mint adds a crisp, cooling finish that makes every sip feel instantly reviving on a hot day. You need just ten minutes to make this vibrant, hydrating watermelon mint lemonade.

Ingredients

4 cups fresh seedless watermelon chunks

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/3 cup simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

10 fresh mint leaves (plus more for garnish)

2 cups cold water

1 cup ice cubes

Watermelon triangles and mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

1. Add watermelon chunks and fresh mint leaves into a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

2. Strain the watermelon mint puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher and discard all solids.

3. Pour in fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest.

4. Add simple syrup or honey and cold water.

5. Stir everything together until well combined.

6. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon juice as needed.

7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish with mint sprigs and serve immediately.

Notes

Choose a ripe, deeply red watermelon for the sweetest flavor and the most vivid pink color.

Do not over-blend the mint or it will turn the lemonade bitter โ€” a short blend is all you need.

Strain the puree well to remove all fiber and seeds for the cleanest and smoothest texture.

This lemonade is naturally low in calories making it a perfect guilt-free summer refresher.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 days โ€” stir well before serving as natural separation occurs.
