Strawberry Honey Lemonade

Best Strawberry Honey Lemonade

  • Author: danyrecipes

Description

This Strawberry Honey Lemonade swaps refined sugar for golden raw honey and pairs it with sweet fresh strawberries and bright lemon juice into a naturally sweetened, floral lemonade that tastes cleaner and more complex than any classic version. The honey adds a warm, rich depth that elevates every sip beautifully. You need just ten minutes to make this wholesome, naturally sweetened lemonade.

Ingredients

2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)

1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1/3 cup raw honey (adjust to taste)

3 cups cold water

1 cup ice cubes

Fresh strawberry slices and lemon rounds for garnish

Instructions

1. Add fresh strawberries into a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.

2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.

3. Add fresh lemon juice and lemon zest into the pitcher.

4. Add raw honey and stir vigorously until the honey fully dissolves into the liquid.

5. Pour in cold water and stir everything together until well combined.

6. Taste and adjust honey or lemon juice as needed.

7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish and serve immediately.

Notes

Raw honey dissolves best when you stir it into the room temperature strawberry juice before adding cold water.

Use a high quality raw honey for the most complex floral flavor โ€” clover honey works well here.

Strain the strawberry puree thoroughly for the smoothest and most polished lemonade texture.

Fresh lemon juice is non-negotiable โ€” bottled juice completely kills the natural honey flavor.

Store in the fridge for up to 2 days โ€” stir well before serving as natural separation occurs.
