Description
A delicious and easy pizza topped with spicy buffalo chicken, melted cheese, and creamy ranch. Made with store-bought dough, this Friday night dinner is ready in 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 package store-bought pizza dough (or 2 naan breads for quick version)
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded (rotisserie works great)
- 1/2 cup Frank’s RedHot Original Sauce
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup celery, diced
- 1/4 cup blue cheese crumbles (optional)
- Green onions for garnish
- Ranch dressing for drizzle
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven now.
- Prepare Dough: Let store-bought dough sit at room temperature for 10 minutes. Stretch it gently to fit your pizza pan or baking sheet. Leave it on parchment paper if it came with it.
- Make Buffalo Sauce: In a small bowl, mix softened cream cheese with Frank’s RedHot sauce until smooth and creamy.
- Spread Sauce: Spread a thin layer of the buffalo cream cheese sauce over the dough. Do not overload or the crust will be soggy.
- Season Chicken: In a bowl, toss your shredded chicken with a little more hot sauce if desired. Spread it evenly over the sauce layer.
- Add Cheese: Sprinkle half the mozzarella and cheddar cheese over the chicken.
- Add Toppings: Add red onion, celery, and blue cheese crumbles. Top with remaining mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
- Bake: Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and starting to brown.
- Finish: Remove from oven and top with fresh green onions and a light drizzle of ranch dressing.
- Serve: Slice and enjoy hot!
Notes
Storage: Store leftover pizza in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5-10 minutes to restore crispiness.
Flatbread Version: Use naan bread or pita bread instead of pizza dough. Reduce baking time to 8-10 minutes.
Make Ahead: Assemble the pizza a few hours ahead and refrigerate. Bake from cold, adding 2-3 minutes to cooking time.
Less Mess: Line your baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
