Description
A hydrating, tropical twist on the classic Limonada Suรญรงa, made by blending fresh limes with naturally sweet coconut water and a splash of sweetened condensed milk. Perfectly creamy and refreshing.
Ingredients
3 medium limes, washed and quartered
4 cups cold coconut water
1/2 can (7 oz) sweetened condensed milk
2 cups ice cubes
Instructions
1. Add the quartered limes and cold coconut water to a blender.
2. Pulse the blender for exactly 15 to 20 seconds to release the lime oils without drawing out bitterness from the pith.
3. Pour the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve into a large pitcher or bowl, pressing the solids to extract all the liquid.
4. Discard the leftover lime pulp.
5. Return the strained lime and coconut water mixture to the blender along with the sweetened condensed milk and ice cubes.
6. Blend on high until smooth, creamy, and frothy, then serve immediately in chilled glasses.
Notes
Use 100% pure coconut water without added sugars for the best natural flavor and maximum hydration.
If you prefer a completely dairy-free version, swap the regular condensed milk for sweetened condensed coconut milk.
Do not over-blend the limes during the first step, or the white pith will make the drink overly bitter.
Serve immediately over ice, as the drink can separate and turn bitter if stored in the refrigerator.
