You need just ten minutes to make this gorgeous blueberry honey lemonade from scratch.
Ingredients
1.5 cups fresh blueberries
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/4 cup raw honey or honey syrup (adjust to taste)
3 cups cold water
1 cup ice cubes
Fresh blueberries and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Add fresh blueberries into a highโspeed blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. Strain the blueberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher and discard all seeds and solids.
3. Pour in fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest.
4. Add honey or honey syrup and cold water.
5. Stir everything together until well combined and the honey is fully dissolved.
6. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon juice as needed.
7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish with blueberries and lemon slices and serve immediately.
Notes
Use ripe, deeply colored blueberries for the sweetest flavor and the most vivid violet color.
Raw honey adds a subtle floral complexity that pairs beautifully with the blueberry and lemon.
Frozen blueberries work perfectly and are available yearโround at most grocery stores.
Strain the blueberry puree very thoroughly to remove all tiny seeds for the smoothest texture.
Store in the fridge for up to 2 days โ stir well before serving as natural separation occurs.
