Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
1 cup strong brewed hibiscus tea (cooled)
3 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 teaspoon lime zest
1/3 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
1/2 cup hot water (for lavender syrup)
2 cups cold water
1 cup ice cubes
Fresh strawberry slices, lime wheels and dried hibiscus flowers for garnish
Instructions
1. Brew a strong cup of hibiscus tea using two tea bags and let it cool completely.
2. Add dried culinary lavender into a small bowl and pour hot water over it.
3. Add honey or simple syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
4. Steep for 10 minutes then strain out the lavender and let the syrup cool.
5. Add fresh strawberries into a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
6. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
7. Add the cooled hibiscus tea, cooled lavender syrup, fresh lime juice, and lime zest.
8. Pour in cold water and stir everything together until well combined.
9. Taste and adjust sweetness or lime as needed.
10. Fill glasses with ice, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish and serve immediately.
Notes
Brew the hibiscus tea strong using two tea bags per cup for the boldest and most vibrant flavor.
Cool both the hibiscus tea and lavender syrup completely before combining with fresh strawberry puree.
Strain the strawberry puree well for the smoothest and most refined lemonade texture.
