1 cup cold milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
8 oz whipped topping (thawed)

Instructions
1. Bake cake in a 9×13-inch pan according to package directions.
2. Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water; stir in cold water.
3. Poke holes all over the warm cake with a wooden spoon handle.
4. Pour gelatin mixture evenly over the cake, filling the holes.
5. Cool completely, then refrigerate 1 hour.

7. Spread frosting over chilled cake.
8. Refrigerate at least 2–3 hours before serving. Garnish with orange slices.
Notes
Poke holes while the cake is warm for better absorption.
Chill time is essential for the cake to set and slice cleanly.
For richer flavor, swap water in the cake mix for milk or orange juice.
