Description
A smooth and refreshing Frozen Peach Tea Slushie made with sweetened peachโflavored iced tea and frozen peach slices for a chilled, teaโbased slushie that tastes like a peachโicedโtea float turned into a frosty frozen drink.
Ingredients
2 cups frozen peach slices (peeled and pitted)
2 cups cold peachโflavored sweet tea (or homemade peach tea)
1 cup ice cubes
Optional: 1โ2 tablespoons honey or simple syrup, if you like it sweeter
Instructions
1. If you prefer a stronger tea flavor, brew a batch of peach tea ahead of time and chill it completely.
2. Add the frozen peach slices, cold peach tea, and ice cubes to a highโspeed blender.
3. Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and slushy, scraping down the sides if needed.
4. If the slushie is too thick, add a splash more peach tea; if too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend briefly.
5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding honey or simple syrup if desired.
6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with a fresh peach slice and a sprig of mint for a summerโteaโshop look.
Notes
For a nonโcaffeinated version, use a decaf peach tea or a peach juice blend with a small amount of unsweetened tea.
You can turn this into a cocktail by adding a splash of bourbon or peach liqueur before blending.
If the slushie loosens quickly, blend an extra handful of ice right before serving for the best texture.
