Description
A light and tropical Guava Lime Breeze Slushie made with guava nectar, fresh lime juice, a touch of sweetness, and plenty of ice for a slightly creamy, citrusโkissed frozen drink that tastes like a breezy island getaway in a glass.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups guava nectar
1/4 cup guava puree or mashed ripe guava (optional for richer texture)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
2 tablespoons simple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)
3โ4 cups ice cubes
Instructions
1. In a highโspeed blender, combine the guava nectar, guava puree or mashed guava (if using), lime juice, and simple syrup or honey.
2. Blend on medium speed until smooth and well combined.
3. Add the ice cubes and blend on high until the mixture reaches a thick, slushie texture that clings to the sides of the glass.
4. Taste and adjust sweetness; add a little more syrup or honey if needed, or a splash more guava nectar if itโs too thick.
5. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, optionally garnished with a lime wheel or a small spoonful of extra guava pulp for a โtropical breezeโ look.
Notes
For a creamier slushie, add 1โ2 tablespoons of coconut milk or condensed milk and blend until smooth.
This recipe works beautifully with storeโbought guava nectar, but you can also use blended fresh guava strained through a fineโmesh sieve.
If youโd like a boozy version, add a splash of coconut rum or light rum before the final blend.
