Healthy Baked Salmon with Garlic and Olive Oil

Description

A light, flavorful baked salmon made with olive oil, garlic, and lemon. Healthy, quick, and perfect for busy weeknights or elegant dinners.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets

  • 3 tbsp olive oil

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 lemon (juice and zest)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.

  • Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and zest in a bowl.

  • Place salmon fillets on the sheet, skin-side down, and brush with the garlic oil.

  • Season with salt and pepper.

  • Bake 12–15 minutes until flaky and tender.

  • Garnish with herbs and extra lemon juice before serving.

Notes

Add honey to the olive oil mixture for a honey garlic glaze.

Works beautifully with cod or trout too.

Serve with quinoa, greens, or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.
