Description
A light, flavorful baked salmon made with olive oil, garlic, and lemon. Healthy, quick, and perfect for busy weeknights or elegant dinners.
Ingredients
4 salmon fillets
3 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lemon (juice and zest)
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp chopped parsley or dill (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment.
Mix olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and zest in a bowl.
Place salmon fillets on the sheet, skin-side down, and brush with the garlic oil.
Season with salt and pepper.
Bake 12–15 minutes until flaky and tender.
Garnish with herbs and extra lemon juice before serving.
Notes
Add honey to the olive oil mixture for a honey garlic glaze.
Works beautifully with cod or trout too.
Serve with quinoa, greens, or roasted veggies for a balanced meal.
