Description
A tangy and tropical Passionfruit Citrus Slushie made with fresh passionfruit pulp, a splash of orange and lime juice, and plenty of ice for a bright, zesty frozen drink that tastes like a citrusโfruit punch in slushie form.
Ingredients
4โ6 ripe passionfruit, scooped (about 1 cup pulp)
3/4 cup orange juice (fresh or goodโquality storeโbought)
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
2โ3 tablespoons honey or simple syrup, adjust to taste
3โ4 cups ice cubes
Instructions
1. Scoop the passionfruit pulp into a highโspeed blender, including the seeds for extra flavor and texture.
2. Add the orange juice, lime juice, and honey or simple syrup if using.
3. Blend on high until smooth and the mixture is fully combined.
4. Add the ice cubes and blend again until the drink reaches a thick, slushieโlike texture that clings to the sides of the glass.
5. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding a little more honey or a splash more orange juice if needed.
6. Pour immediately into chilled glasses, optionally garnished with an orange wheel, lime wedge, or a small spoonful of extra passionfruit pulp for a citrusโtropical look.
Notes
For a sharper, more adultโstyle slushie, add a splash of vodka or rum before the final blend.
If you only have passionfruit syrup or concentrate, replace 1/2 cup of the orange juice with the syrup and reduce the honey accordingly.
Use fully frozen passionfruit pulp or freeze the blended mixture for about 30 minutes if you want a slightly firmer slush texture.
