Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
- ½ cup tomato sauce
- 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz thinly sliced prosciutto
- ¾ cup pineapple chunks (fresh or canned, drained)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ¼ tsp red chili flakes (optional)
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 475°F (245°C).
- Roll dough into a 12-inch circle and place on a baking sheet or stone.
- Spread sauce evenly, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese, add pineapple and prosciutto.
- Top with remaining cheese and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake 10–12 minutes until crust is golden and cheese bubbles.
- Cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
• For crispier edges, bake directly on the rack for the last minute.
• Substitute ham for prosciutto or add jalapeño slices for spice.
• Leftovers reheat best in a skillet or toaster oven.
