Ingredients
8 mozzarella sticks (or string cheese)
8 sheets rice paper
Warm water, for soaking
Vegetable oil, for frying (or spray oil for air fryer)
Optional Add-ins
Crushed Hot Cheetos for a spicy version
Garlic powder or Italian seasoning
Shredded parmesan
Chili flakes or herbs
Marinara, ranch, or your favorite dipping sauce
Instructions
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water and dip one sheet of rice paper for 10–15 seconds until soft.
- Place a mozzarella stick near the center, fold the sides, and roll tightly.
- (Optional) Double-wrap for extra crunch or roll in crushed Hot Cheetos.
- Heat 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry for 1–2 minutes per side until golden.
- Drain on paper towels and serve hot with marinara or creamy dips.
Notes
Don’t oversoak the rice paper it should be flexible, not mushy.
Air Fryer Option: Spray lightly with oil and cook at 400°F for 6–7 minutes, flipping halfway.
