Description
This Strawberry Mint Lemonade pairs juicy sweet strawberries with cool fresh mint and bright lemon juice into a crisp, vibrant lemonade that refreshes instantly from the very first sip. The mint adds a clean, cooling finish that makes this lemonade taste lighter and more alive than any classic version. You need just ten minutes to make this beautiful, herb-kissed lemonade.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
12 fresh mint leaves
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/3 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
3 cups cold water
1 cup ice cubes
Fresh mint sprigs and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Add fresh strawberries into a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. Strain the strawberry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher.
3. Add fresh mint leaves into the pitcher and gently muddle them with a spoon.
4. Pour in fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest.
5. Add honey or simple syrup and cold water.
6. Stir everything together until well combined.
7. Taste and adjust sweetness or mint as needed.
8. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish with mint sprigs and serve immediately.
Notes
Muddle the mint leaves gently โ pressing too hard releases bitter compounds that ruin the flavor.
Fresh mint only โ dried mint gives a completely flat and medicinal taste.
Strain the strawberry puree well for the cleanest and most refreshing lemonade texture.
Add sparkling water instead of still water for a fizzy mint strawberry lemonade upgrade.
Store in the fridge for up to 24 hours โ remove the mint leaves after 2 hours to prevent bitterness.
