Description
This Strawberry Raspberry Lemonade combines sweet strawberries and bold tangy raspberries with bright fresh lemon into a deeply vibrant, jewel-toned lemonade with a sweet-tart punch that hits perfectly in every sip. The raspberries add an intense fruity sharpness that takes this lemonade to a completely different level. You need just ten minutes to make this stunning, berry-packed lemonade.
Ingredients
1.5 cups fresh strawberries (hulled and halved)
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (about 4 lemons)
1 teaspoon lemon zest
1/3 cup honey or simple syrup (adjust to taste)
3 cups cold water
1 cup ice cubes
Fresh raspberries and lemon slices for garnish
Instructions
1. Add fresh strawberries and raspberries into a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth.
2. Strain the berry puree through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher and discard all seeds and solids.
3. Pour in fresh lemon juice and add lemon zest.
4. Add honey or simple syrup and cold water.
5. Stir everything together until well combined.
6. Taste and adjust sweetness or lemon juice as needed.
7. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the lemonade over the ice, garnish with fresh raspberries and serve immediately.
Notes
Strain the berry puree very thoroughly โ raspberry seeds are numerous and make the drink unpleasant.
Frozen raspberries work just as well as fresh and often deliver a more intense and concentrated flavor.
The deep ruby-pink color of this lemonade looks absolutely breathtaking in clear tall glasses.
Fresh lemon juice is essential โ bottled juice kills the vibrant berry flavor completely.
Store in the fridge for up to 2 days โ stir well before serving as natural separation occurs.
