Description
A vibrant Strawberry Lemonade Splash Slushie made with frozen strawberries, fresh lemonade, and plenty of ice for a sweetโtart, slurpy summer drink that tastes like a strawberryโlemon snow cone in a glass.
Ingredients
2 cups frozen strawberries (about 12 oz)
1 1/2 cups prepared lemonade (or homemade lemonade, chilled)
1/4 cup simple syrup or sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
2โ3 cups ice cubes
Instructions
1. Add the frozen strawberries and lemonade to a highโspeed blender.
2. Blend until the strawberries are smooth and the mixture is well combined.
3. Add the simple syrup or sugar if using and blend again for a few seconds to dissolve.
4. Add the ice cubes and blend on high until the mixture forms a thick, icy slushie that clings to the sides of the glass.
5. Taste and adjust by adding a little more lemonade or sweetener if needed.
6. Serve immediately in chilled glasses, garnished with a strawberry slice and a lemon wedge for a splashโofโcolor finish.
Notes
For a sugarโfree version, use a sugarโfree lemonade and a sugarโfree sweetener.
Use frozen strawberries for the best slushie texture without watering down the drink.
If your blender struggles, add a splash more lemonade and blend in shorter bursts.
