Description

A creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy appetizer dip made with cream cheese, honey, and pepper jelly. Perfect served warm or cold for parties, potlucks, and gatherings.


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

½ cup pepper jelly

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp brown sugar

¼ tsp crushed red pepper flakes

1 tsp apple cider vinegar

Pinch of salt

Optional Add-ins:

¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp roasted red peppers, chopped

1 tbsp chopped nuts

A few drops of hot sauce


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, honey, brown sugar, and vinegar until smooth.
  3. Stir in pepper jelly and red pepper flakes.
  4. For a warm dip, bake 15 minutes until bubbly. For a cold dip, refrigerate 1 hour.
  5. Garnish with herbs and drizzle with extra pepper jelly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with crackers, crostini, or fresh vegetables.

For a sweeter dip, add more honey or mild jelly.

Great make-ahead option refrigerate for up to 4 days.
