Description
Bowtie Italian pasta salad with mozzarella is a simple and crowd-pleasing cold pasta salad made with farfalle, tomatoes, olives, basil, mozzarella, and Italian dressing.
Ingredients
12 oz bowtie pasta
1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
1/2 cup black olives, sliced
1/2 cup cucumber, diced
1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
1 cup mozzarella pearls
1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
3/4 cup Italian dressing
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Cook the bowtie pasta in salted boiling water until al dente.
2. Drain and rinse the pasta under cold water until completely cooled.
3. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, cherry tomatoes, olives, cucumber, red onion, mozzarella, and basil.
4. Add the Italian dressing and toss until evenly coated.
5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
6. Chill until ready to serve.
Notes
Fresh basil adds the best flavor in this version.
Mozzarella pearls make mixing easier.
Serve cold for the freshest taste.
