Chicken Caesar pasta salad blends cooked pasta with juicy chicken, crisp romaine, parmesan, and creamy Caesar dressing for a hearty cold salad with classic Caesar flavor.
Ingredients
12 oz penne or fusilli pasta
2 cups cooked chicken breast, chopped
4 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
3/4 cup Caesar dressing
1/2 cup croutons
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente.
2. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water until fully cooled.
3. In a large bowl, combine cooled pasta, chopped chicken, romaine lettuce, and parmesan cheese.
4. Add Caesar dressing, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
5. Toss well until evenly coated.
6. Top with croutons just before serving for the best texture.
7. Serve immediately or chill briefly before serving.
Notes
Add the croutons right before serving so they stay crisp.
Use rotisserie chicken for a faster prep.
Fresh shaved parmesan gives the best flavor.
