Description
Fresh pineapple salsa is a sweet and tangy fruit salsa made with ripe pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, jalapeรฑo, cilantro, and lime juice.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
1/2 cup red bell pepper, diced
1/4 cup red onion, finely diced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
1 jalapeรฑo, seeded and finely diced
2 tbsp lime juice
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine pineapple, red bell pepper, red onion, and jalapeรฑo.
2. Add chopped cilantro and lime juice.
3. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
4. Gently toss until well mixed.
5. Chill for 15โ20 minutes before serving to let the flavors blend.
6. Serve with tortilla chips, grilled fish, chicken, or shrimp.
Notes
Use fresh, ripe pineapple for the best flavor.
Adjust the amount of jalapeรฑo to control the heat.
